Disney Cars Toons - Co-Directors Interview

Up to this moment Disney-Pixar have released three shorts telling the tale of Mater , the run down pickup truck .
Mater Tall tales place Mater in different location , differernt time and in differnt customs .
At the first short , Rescue Car Mater - Mater is a fire truck that rescues lightning mcQueen from a burning building .
At the second , Mater The Greater , Mater is a famous daredevil who does all kinds of stunts.
In the last one , El Materdor , Mater is a famous bulldozer fighter in Spain.
Comming to ABC-Disney Channel , starting this Holiday Season , are three new Disney Cars Toons . As in the previous chapters Mater would have strange and funny encounters with new characters and will once again include his best friend Lightning McQueen in impossible situations.
The three new toons will bridge to Cars 2 , world grand prix that would be released at the summer of 2011.
An interview with the co-producers , Rob Gibbs and Victor Navon is available at Disney Cars Toys Blog. The two producers have worked on the first feature , Cars and have been working at Pixar for years on several animated movies.

Disney Cars Toys are becomming scares lately and die cast cars collectors are paying close attention . This speculation will or will not pay off but one thing is for sure - these cars are high quality , detailed , cheap and most important fun.
Many people don't know that the first die cast cars were manufactured in the early 1900's and were all cast one piece metal and painted (thus the name die cast). The earlier models were not as detailed as today , actually they didn't even have any interiors and their quality was low . It was only later , that die cast cars became popular and their demand grew . More and more companies started manufacturing these miniature models (mainly in the United States and United Kingdom) that range from 1:87 ( these are the smallest cars available) to 1:18 (the largest models that are usually 7-9 inches long) .
Later in the late 1960's Mattel , the manufacturer of Disney Cars Toys entered the arena with the Hot wheels series which was manufactured to approximetly 1:64 scale. Today there are around 10 thousnad die cast cars from these series. in 2000 , the highest price of $72,000 was paid for a Volkswagen Beach Bomb that was manufactured in 1969 along with additional 24 cars.
